PURMILL is a very powerful plate beveller that can bevel virtually any hardness of steel including titanium, hardox, weldox and inconel. This machine can achieve a bevel width of 50 mm at a bevelling angle between 15° and 60°. PURMILL will bevel plates with a thickness from 6 to 60 mm. PURMILL is designed for bevelling of straight edges but accepts some curved edges as well.

Its unique bevelling system achieves a mirror finish as the machine is moving along the plate at variable speeds by means of two propelling wheels. The machine is equipped with sensors which stop the rotation of the milling tool when it reaches the end of the plate. PURMILL has a roughness elimination system which helps in case of imperfection of plate thickness.

PURMILL is also available in an upside down version for beveling of bottom sides without the need to flip the plate over. PURMILL is now also available in its brand new versatile version which can be used for bevelling between 0° and 90°: this means that you can do clad removal, plate bevelling and facing of plate with just one machine.
