HURDMILL Plate Bevelling Machine performance

The HURDMILL plate bevelling machine has been designed  to remove high quantities of material. This beveller is the most powerful of our plate bevellers.

Bevelling of virtually all types of steel and alloys including duplex, hastelloy and titanium is possible with the HURDMILL beveller (special bevelling accessories may be needed; it is important to specify the material to bevel).

This bevelling machine can bevel even very thick plates (up to 60 mm of plate thickness). The beveller’s exceptional power allows it to make bevels 46 mm wide (diagonal), and under some circumstances even more (in several passes). Any angle of bevel can be achieved within the standard range of 15° to 60° (for requirements outside the range, special versions can be considered).

The quality of bevelling obtained with the HURDMILL beveller is unsurpassed. Smooth, roughless, mirror finish will surprise you.

Another advantage of the HURDMILL bevelling machine is its mobility. Thanks to its self feeding advancement system, the beveller travels along the plate with no effort of the operator.

What makes bevelling process even more flexible for the user is the possibility of moving this beveller on its incorporated trolley throughout your factory; open-air bevelling such as on construction sites is also possible. No fixed installation is needed, there are only very limited requirements for free space along the bevelled plate.
